are there any alternatives to the factory GT4 calipers that aren't $1,300+?
Its one of the few hardware pieces i'm missing for my project. I doubt my stock GT calipers are strong enough to handle & judging by the size difference in hubs, even big enough to consider using. any help is appreciated ![]() |

I doubt my stock GT calipers are strong enough to handle & judging by the size difference in hubs, even big enough to consider using. You'd be surprised how good the GT brakes work on even a decently high HP swapped car. I have great braking response and I'm running 18-20PSI on a 3S-GTE It's been proven the stock GT brakes are as good as ST-185 dual pots IMO ST-205 or leave it stock [Unless of course you want to pay waaaay too much for the Brembo namebrand instead of Celica stamped Brembo brakes LOL ![]() thanks for the replies, I'll check on the ls400. pm sent. They are the same as the ST-205 - just different brackets ![]() This post has been edited by DEATH: Sep 28, 2010 - 4:18 PM -------------------- ![]() ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
