are there any alternatives to the factory GT4 calipers that aren't $1,300+?
Its one of the few hardware pieces i'm missing for my project. I doubt my stock GT calipers are strong enough to handle & judging by the size difference in hubs, even big enough to consider using. any help is appreciated ![]() |

and of the Audi quattro is 330 x 30 but an adapter would be needed as the caliper can only accomodate ~ 315 MAX and if the disc is trimmed down you lose brake surface, as they have a groove below the audi's brake surface where our ST205 brake pad would fall on, so triming the disc is not an option there.
I actually still have these disc at home, maybe I'll take a picture of them before tossing them away. -------------------- ![]() |
