 strange coolant/oil issue |

My celica consumes a small amount of oil, but today I noticed the car beginning to overheat. I checked the coolant levels, and was roughly 1 gallon low. The oil is not cloudy or milky (it looks like oil), but come to think of it, every once in a while i'll get out of my car and i'll smell that sweet syrupy smell that would indicate a coolant leak. I checked the car for leaks when I filled it up today, but couldn't find anything. Anyone else having a similar problem? Its a 94 GT.

Could be leaking coolant into the cylinders which would be burning it off. Which would end up being a head gasket.
When your driving around do you have white smoke coming out the tail pipe? -------------------- 2nd Gen 3s-gte.... It lives!
