When I release the gas pedal over 2500rpm the engine makes a weird noise I can't reproduce. It sounds like the engine is having a hard time, like if something's grinding. You really have to pay attention otherwise you may not hear it but it's mostly noticable in 2nd and 3rd gear. It seems to do it more often when the engine is hot. I tend to always clutch down everytime I release gas to avoid this weird sound.
Does anyone know what it could be related to? Thanks. This post has been edited by dudeofchaos: Oct 12, 2010 - 12:08 AM |

yes, the withe lithium grease get rid of the problem. it's been 6 months ago already and i never heard the sound again.
at first, i used wd40. but after a day or 2, the problem is back again. i was told that the white lithium is better since it does not dry up like wd40. i wish i could point the part that i was telling you. if i'll have some time, i'll take a pic of it and post it here. if you could ask someone in your location, the better. |
