So now that i got my car almost fixed....i realized that my car doesnt want to go over 122 mph.
is that normal or is there still something wrong with the car, maybe just the tuning. even though the rpm is around 4500 4800, the car doesnt really go anywhere...just wanted to make sure if thats normal or anywhere close to other GT celicas thanks -------------------- For Sale:OEM tail lights - make offer

A Celica may or may not have a governor. I don't know. I know what I have gotten mine to do and what it wanted to do. The only thing I know is that I've never hit a governor and I've done better than 122. Quite a bit better. The problem is that the 5S runs out of power before it can hit a governor.
Yes, the Celica GT really is that slow. But it gets killer gas mileage. I found that it's best to milk the gas mileage and forget about ever going fast.
