looking to have a short shifter, but ill be dagnabit to spend a hundred bucks for one....I think thats ridiculous for 2 rods and a few nuts. cant I just cut the shifter? is there anything wrong with taking a dremel to it and re-attaching the knob?

from experience i know i should ask this kind of thing before i go demolition on my baby

I just put an EBAY 7g short shifter on the car this past Thursday and I really didn't have any problems with it. Just like previously stated, I followed the TWM instructions and it all worked without a hitch. smile.gif
