I'm kind of in the same exact situation. I installed a gen 7 celica gts steering wheel on my gen 6 gt4 from japan. I've worked my way temporarily by doing some wiring, but it's not the best. My flashers also don't come off by themselves because I don't have the clock spring.
I am planning on doing a home made kind of clock spring made out of metal and wood, but I would have prefered to get a real clock spring. |

So i fix the horn and flashers today Thanks a lot to Mike "mkernz22" for sending me for free a clock spring from his car - so this is the only part that you need... ...then you just need to make conection from the horn (green wire at the back to the clock spring...and from clock spring to the wheel) and it's ready - 5 min job and you have horn and flashers working again with your new nice looking steering wheel from 7 gen celica Cheers Dimitri -------------------- ![]() |
