well.. my 95' celica gt is completely stock.. i have absolutely no mods yet.. ive raced it a few times.. and when i get beat.. ive always gotten taken in 3rd and 4th gears.. i cant seem to get any acceleration past 1s and 2nd.. i was wondering what beggining/basic mods would i need to increase acceleration in my higher gears.. thnx for the help..

Close transmission, perhaps. And I don't know. Our cars really aren't that fast, you know. I mean, are you racing turboed cars? Because turbos are most effective at high speeds (3rd or 4th gear).
