So I noticed the other day when I turn right that I get a clicking noise from the front passenger side wheel area. This is also coupled with steering wheel shake that gets noticeable around 40 mph and up. I just checked my bearings the other day and they are tight and all my lugs are on good. Any ideas what it could be? Could it possibly be tie rods? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I know this sounds like a noob question, but what is the best way to check the axle?

I don't believe there is such thing as a "noob" question. tongue.gif Check your axle visually for obvious things like: torn boots, damages, loose parts, grease leaking. After reading up on the subject of bad cv joint symptoms, yours seems to fit like a glove. And from what i read, yours just started to go so it'll be a short while before it goes. Take a look and post what you find and we can go from there.
