Figured I'd share this deal with everyone....
These are the filters I use, and they're very high quality. I usually pay $6+ each. 1. Go here and fill out the drop down boxes. 2. Add 5 Purolator PUREone filters to your cart 3. Add promo code BIG10 and click apply ($10 off $25 coupon code) 4. Select In-Store pickup and total should be $15 Enjoy! This post has been edited by AMCMoe: Nov 11, 2010 - 12:46 PM |

Some quick research for the micron ratings...
QUOTE Due to the impressive surface area of media, PureOne is one of the best flowing, if not *the* best flowing filter around. In addition to having the best efficiency. (Note that the AC Ultraguard was discontinued years ago.) There are two sets of figures floating around. One puts PO at 79% at 5 microns. The other set puts it at 52% and 5 microns. Nothing else on the market can come close to matching PureOne at that tiny particle size. And, of course, 99.9% at the more standard 20-40 micron sizes reported by other manufacturers. QUOTE PureONE's ISO 4548-12 for 5 micron is 50%, 10 micron is 92.8%, 15 micron is 99.2%, and 20 micron is 99.9%. [info source: e-mail response from the tech/engineer department]. I've e-mailed Amsoil about the 5/10/20 micron ratings that isn't listed on the website but it would seem that PureONE is better than Amsoil by the 15 micron comparison. QUOTE Amsoil EaO
0.0% @ 7 micron (nominal) 98.7% @ 15 microns 99.8% @ 20 microns Purolator PureONE: 50.0% @ 5 micron (nominal) 92.8% @ 10 micron 99.2% @ 15 micron 99.9% @ 20 micron This post has been edited by AMCMoe: Nov 12, 2010 - 12:56 AM |
