How hard it is to replace the light control switch? Anybody have experience replacing them ? please share

the 96+ has a shorter tab on the slotted part.
if you look where the string ends, that raised plastic piece is different on the two. I have a 96+ one in my garage and I can confirm if that is the right one or not for you Just to let you know, that one did sell already, but it was for a 94-95.
