![]() ![]() bought a welder from HF. LOL, its fun, wish i had more metal to play with. First timer, only 10 mis of experience.. Splatter is my specialty. Got to be less afraid... -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL

I have a miller 110 mig welder and it was perfect for when i finished off my downpipe and work bench supports.
Can you attach a gas tank with regulators to your welder? If so, you should get a 75%/25% CO2/Argon mix tank and some copper coated wire and you won't have as much spatter. The flux-core stuff is horrible when it comes to spatter sticking to the metal. ![]() A wire brush comes in handy as well. |
