I joined today to ask for help compiling a checklist for a 97 convertible. I would've asked yesterday, but this site didn't come up on google searches. (might want to edit meta tags)
Anyway, its 1-owner, 160k, AT. I know there was more sound insulation starting in 96. I'm asking for any common problems, quick/temp/bad fixes(that they may have applied), info on inspecting the top, problems that appear only when driving, anything YOU would look for in buying this car. |

First off Welcome to the site.
If it is a 97 limited edition vert, make sure the badging and floormats are in tact and in decent shape, all that stuff is not available for replacement. There were only 1500 LE verts made, at least that is what toyota is claiming. -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.
