I have a starter motor from a 96 camry 5sfe (auto), just wondering if it will work with my 94 celica (manual). I've noticed the plug is a different shape but apart from that will it work?
Thanks |

Your from new zealand so I'm not sure if theirs a difference from the cars there my buddy owns a 94 4cyl camry he is using a 01 lexus v6 starter and his is obd1 so no their shouldn't be any difference I installed it for him and it was plug and play I believe all the 5sfe and 1MZ-FE v6 used the same starter 94-01 didn't matter auto or stick. Post some pics of the plug difference if you can.
