anybody know if there's a way to put the 7g leather seats into my 97? i bought them on a whim and obviously they are not going to fit, anyone kno if theres someone out there who has done this successfully? thanks.

my seats are in the car. I used 95 celica brackets, rails, seat pan and plastics. I took the cushion and leather from the 7th gen seat and put them on the 6th gen seat pan. Then I bolted the 7th gen back to the 6th gen bracket. You could just bolt the 7th gen back into an existing 6th gen set up if all you want is to change that part.
see pics (7th gen seat bracket, notice the gray seat belt buckle)   as long as you have 95 or newer seats in your car this is a very easy swap. hokuten3, I'm not sure why your bolts are different sizes, mine were exactly the same.
