 225 on 7" wheels? |

It's time to buy new tires for my tC wheels (after they're painted
 ). OE was 215/45/17, is it possible to run 225 without rubbing? I'm mainly looking for a little more contact patch, nothing else.

225/45/17 with sportlines just barely touch the wheelwell liner at full wheellock.
IMO the best sized tire for a 17X7 rim on a celica. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
