Hey guys, I have a blown head gasket and a warped head on my 5sfe. I was wondering what would be the easiest swap to do, engine wise.

I'm not in any position to tell you which swap is easiest, because I've only done one before. But I would think that to stick with a 5SFE would be best. You wouldn't have to do any ECU re-wiring or anythinglike that, unless it's a JDM 5SFE. Correct me if I'm wrong guys/gals. If you want more POWER, now that's a totally different story.
-Hope I helped, Ryan EDIT: Oh, and at the top of this ENGINE/TRANSMISSION/MAINTENANCE section, there's a FAQ sticky with all types of information on engine swaps and more. This post has been edited by str8thugginit4ya: Dec 26, 2010 - 10:34 AM |
