Hi people
my gt4 is lightly moded and running 333bhp at thd fly. I would like to know the best way forward spending 800 - 1000 pounds. Current mods are as follows blitz electronic boost controller 1.1 bar pigy back unichip ( made no dam differance) high flow panel filter and resinator box removed vsv disabled bailey dump valve light weight alloy rad only because the standard one split organic clutch blitz nur spec r exhaust aussie down pipe. I have been thinking about a hybrid turbo. I know very little what is best, im open to opinion. Would I also need to upgrade the fuel pump if I went down this route? im not looking for huge power. something with a fair amount of power but reliable any ideas |

I would spend some of the money on improving the handeling side of things because more power requires more control and the stock faff setup pushes like a pig and gets worse with age, I would have the front super strut setup checked over by someone who knows what they are looking for as your £1000 budget may be swallowed up by needing new figure 8s/lower arms/banana arms and crush tubes if issues are found in that region. If all is good there, then a Whiteline adjustable rear antiroll bar would be my first purchase, then a steering geometry check/adjust to get things within specification. Going fast in a straight line isnt nearly as much fun as going fast around corners and a worn suspension setup will spoil your fun.
A Blitz ecu will be plug and play with no mapping costs but the Power FC (AP Engineering Version if you can find one) is a great option but must be mapped to your car, using a map that has been setup for another car is a ticking bomb. Good luck and enjoy your 4 ![]() -------------------- 1994 JDM GT4 WRC
