Since I'm soon to be reassembling by dash and such I'm looking for a nice torque wrench. Where should I look? What type would you recommend?

the problem about renting a torque wrench is you have no idea if its within tolerance. Same goes for owning one, but most people I know that have a torque wrench (at least on that costs a bit) treat them gently. They dont go around dropping them, throwing them, etc....I have no idea if any rental place sends in torque wrenches for calibration.
Best bet, if you dont want to buy one, borrow it from someone local. If you cant do that, get a craftsman, they run about 100 new (and cheaper if you can get them on sale). Not the "best" but a decent brand. Just stay away from digital, IMO. |
