 How much boost?, can a celica handel? |

So right now I'm debating on selling my celica for something quicker like a DSM or Vtec honda. But I really do enjoy the styling and intertior design of the 6g. The only problem is, it's a bit slow for my taste. I also hear when you sink about 3k into boosting a celica, you can only achieve 14s in the 1/4. So how much boost can a 5sfe handle on stock internals? And how hard is it to get faster then ohhhh...say a Z28?

Total, TOTAL bullshlt. Don't listen to these people. Its never going to run 9's but the 13 sec range is definitely not out of reach. A properly built and tuned engine with a well set up suspension could be made to do 12s. There is absolutely NOTHING about the 5sfe or the 7afe that prevent them from making the same power as any other 1.8l/2.2l import engines. I wish everybody would quit whining and hating and try to learn something. |
