 Red cars a bad idea?, Anybody with one had trouble???? |

I've been in the market for a miata for a while now and I've found one I really like. Problem is, its red. I've always had white/black/aquamarine (my '64 impala) cars. I'm concerned that I'll get more attention from the po-po with a red car. Anyone care to comment? i drive real fast here in dallas, but the cops are pretty laid back about speeding, they have better things to do. When I'm on long road trips I'm usually doing 5-15 over if the conditions are good and traffic isn't bad.

I have a red car w/ blue neons inside and a craazy loud system. I've only been pulled over once in it. I was doin 70 in a 45 and the cop let me go. I couldnt believe it. I wanted to hug that guy. If i had been him I wouldve given me a ticket. I deserved one.
 Other than that cops have seen me goin 10 or 15 over dozens of times and not come after me. Knock on wood. I've been very fortunate so far.I did get pulled over one other time...I was following my friend and we got pulled over in a DQ parking lot for having our systems up too loud, but the cop had nothing on me b/c I turned mine down as soon as I saw him, but my friend didnt. Since then I've been sticking to obeying the law as much as possible. I cant aford a ticket. |
