Too all you fellow 6th geners out there, my question is:
Will I get maximum performance out of my exhaust system by doing a free flow 3" straight back with the silencer in the tip, to add a little bit of back pressure. OR Will I get maximum performance out of my exhaust system by doing a free flow 3" straight back with a resonater bottle for a little bit of back pressure, with no silencer in the tip. ![]() So I guess what im trying to ask is which one would be more st205 friendly on motor as well as performance, or are both relativly same, thanx for all you guys input.. ![]() |

Anything with turbo, go 3" at the HP range the st205 will put out. Theres no need for back pressure on a turbo engine. Thats NA talk. A resonator will keep it nice and tone while the choice of muffler will affect the sound it will put out. Most of the guys on here including myself have gone with magnaflow mufflers. If I could go back to my old build I would have added a resonator to keep it just a bit quieter.
