I've been working on my celi for the past few years. I spent my fair share of money on this dream of mine. Yet now I'm wondering how much more do I have to do to put this thing in a show and win something. I got the folding mirrors and the JDM tails, waiting for them now, put the booster spoiler on, did the whole DVD audio thing and soon the reapolstering. Did the neons, dropped the car, put on the kit, and tinted the glass. I'm starting to feel like I might never get it to the point that I want it at.
I just want to know what some of you guys did to your celi's to get them into a show. I'm not asking for a parts brake down but more like when you thought she was worthy and what kind of lengths you went to. Just need some inspiration and maybe some direction. Thanks in advance... J |

The truth is I'm not trying to win money, I just wanted to have alittle more fun with my celi than just driving to the local clubs and hanging out. As for the bolt comment, I agree it is for the most part plug and play but I do have a custom fiber glass enclosure that will mold to the rear of the trunk being made right now. I was hoping it will be my claim to fame. Interior has some neon work that I'm doing myself in the works and the engine swap with pillar guage pod is a near future mod, I'm chasing an engine down.
I didn't mean to come off like I was trying to make a money car. My intent was to get a feel for what it took to prepare a car for a show so that I wouldn't be wasting my time and effort. In the end, its my ride and I'm just glad to have her. J |
