I dont think ive seen anyone with a 7A and a FE head go much above 230 hp.... The 7AGTE is a whole different motor. That setup can handle all sorts of power if you build it right. I remember posting about some guy who sold engines for JDM Corollas that made ~500 hp.

Check this thread out for some tips if youre interested. Its got tons of info on the 7AFTE build.
