Hi everyone !! it is awesome to see so many awesome looking Celicas!! My older brother recently handed down his 6th generation Convertible GT auto that was swapped to an Manual to... At the moment i havent really had the Chance to check out the engine because due to our terrible weather at the moment.. But I would like some suggestions of what i should do with my Celica! It also has a body kit but it is cracked and damaged along withe right hand side fender!! I have always wanted to make my Celica go faster because I am tired of people trash talk on Celicas!!! Welcome to the site! I foresee you being a great member!(i have those powers
 )It really depends how much money and time you have to put into the car. For an engine swap your look at at least 3,000$ but the car will be faster than most corvettes. You could turbo for under 3 grand but you wont get the HP gains. Usually the best place to start on a car is get it up to OEM spec like the day it rolled off the floor. Make sure the engine runs well, the brakes are in good working order, suspension,ect THEN look into upgrading further. Because you have a GT it makes a 3sgte engine swap much easier(you can keep the same tranny and axles). Just read through the stickies and get o the chat and im sure people would be more than welcome to help you out. |
