i have no f'ing clue when it comes to engines, so i have a few questions... could someone explain what the OD button does besides make the tach jump about 1k rpms? (told you i was stupid)... and will i actually notice a performace jump by adding a few bolt on up grades like a CAI and better muffler? thanks...

OD is short for over drive, it is is designed to make your car get better gas mileage by shifting into a higher gear thus reducing engine speed, which inturn also helps wear and tear on your engine. You should keep the OD switch engaged on your car, that is why the light comes on when it is turned off. |
