 Pioneer Avic F900BT, How to update unit? |

Ive just installed a used Avic head unit but its currently running the old firmware and software. I can download the update file and copy to SD card but when I insert the card to the unit it just starts up as normal without reading the update. Anyone know the correct procedure for doing this update as Im sure its me doing something wrong. Thanks guys

Make sure you have the file in the root directory on the SD card and it's not stored within any folders.
