getting rid of the old crud.... Valve covers and Tools, almost anything This applies for 6gc and all cars..
Going from this ![]() to this in 30 mins... with minimal effort.. ![]() How? Finally found something worth doing as it dissolves the caked grime. Go to sams club and get a gallon of this. Proforce Heavy duty degreaser... ![]() http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product....roductId=103502 http://img2.prosperent.com/images/250x250/...249300979_A.jpg mix with water al GUSTO. Let it seat for 15 min, and use a red scotch brite... May need to repeat if needed... use additional tools if desired (toothbrush) -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... looking good 'berto.
you need to hit harbor frieght when they run the sale on theyre 20gal. parts washer. throw some of that stuff in there, and go to town. you'll be amazed at the crud and whatnot it'll melt right off. i went old school in mine, 10 gallons of kerosene, and 2gal. of this super heavy duty stuff. get it on your arms, and after a while you can kinda feel your skin get a little numb..lmao works amazingly tho. absolutly one of the best investments i've ever made for the garage. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
