Haven't posted in a very long time because i dont do anything in the winter, so hello everyone
![]() I still want the 3s i just cant save the money long enough lol burns too much of a hole. With that said I have most of the money saved, so all these projects are completely realistic. ►Anyhow looking more interior/exterior that hasnt been done (or much) to the celica ![]() ►I am repainting the car in the summer (have a few spots that are messed up and what not from being my first paint job). So I want to do absolutely everything i can possibly think of before painting. ►The rear i am thinking of putting in supra lights (94+). As i dont really like the jdm tails, but want something different. Very open to suggestiong about changing the rear bumper to something completely unique ![]() ►Will be adding a roof scoop (very small) just to go along with the hood. but ive never seen a celica with a roof scoop, has it been done? ►Love the front invader bumper, but thinking of different headlights. Projectors are nice, but i want to go all out if im doing it ![]() Lambo doors ![]() ►Interior i cant really think of much. Racing seats, but ive never dealt with any, idk what fits, what doesnt, work involved? anyinfo would help. I never finished my sub box of amp rack as many at meets have seen, but i never did for a reason. Im still thinking of going bigger :X! With 2 Fi Btls 18"s. And a rockford amp. With those I would do the same basic set up, but finish it all in fiberglass to make it actually flow, not just a giant doghouse in my back seat. ►Alarm systems. Ive never dealt with any before, but im sure its not that complicated with some direction. I assume I would need gt doors, with power locks/windows. Any sort of a thread write up or info would help. There are some problems with a few of your ideas.
Supra tails- They've been done. But they didn't look good at all. The Supra and the Celica are similar- but NOT the same. The Supra is a larger car, and all body parts have been sized accordingly. The tails are too big for a Celica and they very obviously don't belong. The shape of a Celica is entirely different than a Supra. Clear lenses on your headlights- There's a reason Toyota never did this for us. There's a reason they stuck with diffused lenses and projectors. Those diffusers spread the light out. Projectors spread the light out. If you put clear lenses on your headlights, you might as well duct tape a couple of flashlights to the hood. Your visibility will vanish. Lambo doors- this fad died in 2002. If necromancy is your thing, hey, go for it. By all means, bring it back from the dead. I don't think it died because people didn't like the look. I think it died because people got sick of trying to be a gymnast to get in and out of their cars. Lambo doors on cars not designed for them are impossibly impractical. Alarm systems- Yes, you will need power locks. No, it isn't as simple as wiring in a sound system. Toyota's wiring harnesses are not nicely labeled. They are not color coded it any way that makes sense to anyone not familiar with it. It's best to leave that to somebody who is more familiar with it. My advice- do yourself a favor. Do the 3S swap.
