its easy once you remove the platform the shift points are written on. IF I were to go back and do this again, I would unscrew the shift knob, pull it up as much as I could,
cut the plastic cover and the wire as jason said remove the plastic molding around the shifter remove the platform with the shift points find the wire for OD take the OD button out of the old shifter put on a new shifter of your choice(be creative) wire the button back onto the old wire, and just bolt it somewhere, and then put it all back together. I proise, it's really easy to do. Jon |
