b22ri22an is correct. The difference is in the lower portion under the side skirt. You can modify them to make them fit, just like you can modify a hatchback rear lip to fit a coupe. Or modify a hatchback spoiler to fit a vert. Can it be done? Yes. Are they the same? No.
Hood and bumper are the same from the hatchback, coupe and convertible. You will have to change your entire front bumper if you want a new smaller lip. Looking at your car, the fenders on your car line up perfectly. Actually, all the body work on your car is done rather well. Which makes me curious about something. Are you sure that the fenders on your car right now aren't just modified OEM fenders? The placement of the Limited Edition emblem looks spot on to where it is put on from the factory, and like I said before, it all lines up perfectly with the doors and the hood. Another thing that I noticed is that z3 style fenders for the 6gc do not look like the ones you have on your car. The vents on the VIS fenders are in different locations, and the VIS fenders have more vents in them on the lower portion. -------------------- |

I am not sure exactly but i will ask my Brother tomorrow about the fender.. because .. all i know is that we bought this car stock (limited edition) and my bother added some touches.. I cant find the fenders anywhere in our storage just the OEM front bumper... So the fenders might be OEM? I cannot find the side skirts either.. and as we know the back bumper is molded... sigh...I was wondering what my car would look like with a Lip. Is te lip even worth Fixing up again because the left side of the lip is damaged (cracked) and was molded and now cracked again... What should i do about the lip? |

You can either keep fixing it and stop hitting things ![]() ![]() Not a great picture, but you get the idea. It all just depends on what look you want to go for. Take a look around the site, find something you like, and then go from there. All of us will have our own opinions, but I don't feel like we've gotten to know your tastes yet, and what you want this car to be like. -------------------- |
