Hey!
I never wired any car speakers before. I bought 4 x 6.5 speakers and I'm planning to wired them up tonight. I removed the door panel and I seen some green and white wires. What do you have to do to get the speaker working?( connect what wire etc etc) |

No need for a harness. From the speaker to the connector it should be black and black with red stripe. Red stripe is positive. Connect the + terminal to the black with red stripe, and the - with the solid black. In the back the colors are red and black, red being positive.
The front speaker holes are 8", so you either need to A-buy 8"-6.5" brackets B-Make them C- Modify your stock 8" speakers to make a bracket for the 6.5"s. This post has been edited by SupraKid: Feb 27, 2011 - 7:13 PM |
