I prefer my barics, but mtx isnt a bad sub for the money. Some of my friends have used them. If you really want a good sub @ a low price i'd say go with the MA audio subs. I think they hold 600 watts continuous, but im not sure of the model number. JL w-series subs are awesome too. The w0s - w3s aren't too pricey and they hit really good.
