Hey, I'm in need of new strut mounts but heard bad things about KYB strut mounts which sucks because they are the easiest and cheapest option for me, Toyota wants a fortune and I don't where I can get any other brands.
So does anyone know anything about KYB strut mounts? thanks. |

All 8 KYB strut mounts I used on the Celica's in the past, I never had a problem with any of them. It may not be necessary, but if you're going to reuse the bearings, I would suggest opening them up and cleaning them out. I soaked them in gasoline to remove all the old grease (and dirt and anything else in there) from the ball bearings, then repacked them with plenty of wheel bearing grease. Worked great
