Excuse the making of this thread, but I just had to do it. Is it me or is KiD CuDi a universal sound?

Personally I like the the instrumental mostly and the lyrics are decent but not earth-shattering. I've heard better to be completely honest but either way music is something too personal and intrinsic to be "universal" other than the concept that most people like some form of it.
