what is the best way to go about converting to an all black interior?

can i take off the headliner and dye it black, or would it be less hassle just to
buy a black headliner from someone parting their car out?

i mean, to make it all black all i would need is the headliner and sunvisors right?

input is appreciated... i'm sure alot of people don't like the tan roof with the rest of
the interior being black. ha

Two ways of doing it. Ive done both. 1, remove the headliner, clean it, lay it out and spray it with a ton of Duplicolour vynal and fabric dye. Thats what i did with my headliner on my civic.

Took about 5 cans to do it, turned from light grey to jet black...

its actually black, but the flash makes it look alot lighter

OR

the other option is to remove the headliner, seperate the material from the reinforced cardboard backing, and reupholster it with new material. I did this on my girlfriend's (keroppi) old celica
the old headliner....

Installed

then for the visors, get some fabric and vynal dye to change the colour.

Should take maybe 2 hours if that if you do the reupholstering one...and if your gonna use anything for an adhesive, use 3M super77 spray adheasive.
