I was wondering how well does the 7afe stock engine internals hold up with a turbo?

The 7A pistons are pretty strong, there must be severe detonation to kill them
 I was boosting 8-11psi on the racetrack for two years and up to 13psi with my street setup without any piston problems. With a good and safe tuning the engine should have no problems with up to 250bhp. |
