So before any meets I really want to make the car looks its best for what I have done to it, it has some rust and stock rims (im trying to get stock gt rims for cheap) so I was wondering what I would do on the outside to add some jazz, I was thinking of a light coat of vht night shade, and window tint, and I want the paint to look nice...any ideas?

Window tint isn't as easy as you'd think it would be, but it isn't impossible. I very highly endorse letting a professional do the tint. Not that I doubt your skills or anything, but the crap you buy at Autozone is just that- crap. It turns purple and peels off. Plus it isn't big enough to do the rear window, so you'd have to do two separate strips.
As for making the car look better, I vote clay bar and some decent wax. Spend about $25 and take a whole day to detail the car and you'll have it looking a lot better. There are plenty of things you can do to the car to make it look better such as the window tint and VHT, but it all starts with a decent-looking finish. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates.
