Out of those subs in the poll I'd probably go with Kickers...the Comp VR round ones that are fairly cheap are good subs for the money. Rockford typically has bad SQ and is overpriced in my opinion. Kicker's Comp VR subs are alright for the money, but their square subs never have good SQ when I hear them, and are really expensive. MTX subs aren't for me, as their SQ isn't very good. I haven't heard much about Phoenix Gold subs, except that they're so-so for the price. My old Audiobahn sub's voice coil lead broke after a couple months of use, and the SQ is just horrible on it, especially when compared to the ID10s I was running for a while. I've yet to hear an Audiobahn sub with good SQ.
Many of those subs will work fine for you if you're not too concerned about SQ, but if you are, then I'd suggest something else. Are you into SPL, SQ, or both? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
