First off my car idles a lil funny, its at 800rpm and jump to almost 1000rpm , it would do this back and forth and if i let go of the brake it would rev a lil higher.
Also when i drive and step on the gas (attemping to floor it kinda) it lags like the mph would jump or the rpm would. Also when i start my car up in the morning(cold start) I would need to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running and if i didnt it would die right away, its been doing this for almost 2 years. When shes warmed up later in the day i wouldnt need to do it anymore. I took it into the shop and the said my Idle Air control valve needed to be replace 1.8 HR to replace (135$ in labor) And the Part (IAC) was $306.01 And shop supply (3.99$) total of $445.28 I wanted to see if anyone knew how to replace this so i can save some money thanks |

its not a hard thing to do. just have your car be cool so when you take the coolant lines off you dont get a shower. you may also find the part cheaper online. i thought i needed one so i looked all over the place online and found some good deals.
