Hey guys,
I'm new here and wanted to get something straight. Are the 7A-FE motors from 90's Corolla the same as the 7A-FE in the Celica's? I have a 97' ST Celica that threw a rod bearing and I'm looking for a replacement engine. Would it be safer to buy a OBDII 7A-FE from another Celica or would a 94-95 Corolla motor do? If a Corolla motor will do, what are some of the things I would need to use from the Celica 7A-FE to work with the 7A-FE in the Corolla motor? Any info would be appreciate. Thanks! |

Read? What's that? And where in the earlier posts does is state the complications, if any, of doing an obd II 7afe into another obd II 7afe? Please enlighten me
![]() ![]() Edit. So to ask question into simple terms... What differences are there between the obd II 7afe in a 1996 toyota corolla vs. an obd II 7afe in a 1996 toyota celica? I noticed the map sensor is different. What problems would I have with that? Can i just use my map sensor? I think I can but I know there someone on here that's done this a time or two that has some pretty useful info that'll help alot. Thanks. This post has been edited by vagina: Apr 4, 2011 - 5:18 PM |
