Aight, I have been reading a little, but between college and work, I haven't had enough time to read everything, so I don't know if this is a repost... BUT I was wondering if a 3sgte from a USDM mr2 (if a 3sgte motor available in it) is the same thing as a 3sgte from a JDM celica gt4... my thinking is that a 3sgte is a 3sgte is a 3sgte, but with the mr2 being a mid-engine it could change the engine around. OH and I am talking about a 3 gen. 3sgte from a 94 on gt4...
Thanks for the help |

My question is what about the parts that are replaced often? e.g. belts, hoses, oil filter, etc....If I go with a gen 3 swap, will I have to import these things? If so, are they readily available and how long does it take? Also, assuming that I went with a gen 2, would I have the same problems if I went with a jdm rather than usdm? -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |
