well i was on my way to the store and hit a pot hole on the right side:

It's a little the rims' fault. Drag wheels are very very cheap, I'm replacing mine soon. But it's largely due in part to the low profile tire. He had a 40 series. OEM wheels have higher series tires, since the wheels are smaller, thus taking pot holes better. More room for the air in the tire to move around and flex. If you put a 40 series tire on an OEM wheel, I'd be willing to bet that there would be a similar result after a pot hole.
