well.. my 95' celica gt is completely stock.. i have absolutely no mods yet.. ive raced it a few times.. and when i get beat.. ive always gotten taken in 3rd and 4th gears.. i cant seem to get any acceleration past 1s and 2nd.. i was wondering what beggining/basic mods would i need to increase acceleration in my higher gears.. thnx for the help..

umm.... wouldnt starting in 2nd slow you down??? the lag would equal or be worse than shifting gears wouldnt it/???
EDIT: i realize our cars are torque based, but they dont have that much torque...
