I'm reading the TWM instructions posted in Batman's 7th gen shifter install thread, I found them here.
Anyways I have a spare shifter base so I thought I might try my hands at removing the stick but I cant get the pins to budge, and judging by whats in those instructions, mine looks different to the USDM one... ![]() -------------------- Mike W

Well since USA guys use JDM gearboxes (ie the S54 from a 3S-GE clip or the E154F from a ST205 clip) they use JDM shifter cables and keep their USDM shifter bases right?
By this logic a USDM shifter base will fit into my JDM car thus allowing a 7th gen short shifter to be used? You guys in Canada might have a market for this, obviously would be harder to obtain the USDM shifter base here in New Zealand (Unless the NZDM 5S-FE model has the same shifter base which I doubt) so that really only leaves us with the TRD option which is NZ$650, the 7th gen short shifter kit is only NZ$99 ![]() -------------------- Mike W
