I'm reading the TWM instructions posted in Batman's 7th gen shifter install thread, I found them here.
Anyways I have a spare shifter base so I thought I might try my hands at removing the stick but I cant get the pins to budge, and judging by whats in those instructions, mine looks different to the USDM one... ![]() -------------------- Mike W

Yeah thats right, When the car is new the transmission is so smooth you wouldnt feel a thing if that wasnt there.
Now my car is so old I hardly hear or feel that click anymore over the crunch of the gearbox anyways. 4th and 5th are my best gears. I guess removing that white thing puts you more in touch with the gearbox as whatever you feel isnt artificial and once you know the car, you know where to put it anyways. The best part is I have a spare shifter assembly so I wont be ruining the one thats in the car, it will just be a waste of $99 if I find it doesnt shift better or if it even shifts at all -------------------- Mike W
