does any one know where i can get a icv (idle control valve) for the 3rd gen 3sge ?
i've busted my ass but can find nothing.  thanks for your help! |

check engine light=no.
well, sometimes i get a (can't remember the code) "engine idle above 3000 while not in gear" or something like that. but the light and the idle weirdness don't coincide. (and it clears every time you turn off the car) i've been told that the light has something to do with it being a jap motor and a someother ecu and the ecu doesn't recognise the cat, but who the hell knows. and no, i haven't checked it yet (but it acts like a icv problem), so i guess maybe i'll get off my lazy butt tomorrow and test it. what the heck, maybe i'll learn something. /narf. p.s. thanks for the page number, makes life a little easier......... |
