well.. my 95' celica gt is completely stock.. i have absolutely no mods yet.. ive raced it a few times.. and when i get beat.. ive always gotten taken in 3rd and 4th gears.. i cant seem to get any acceleration past 1s and 2nd.. i was wondering what beggining/basic mods would i need to increase acceleration in my higher gears.. thnx for the help..

Weird, I have found [from experience] that 2nd and 3rd are the best gears for me. I have an ST 5spd aswell.
Starting in second may not be a bad idea in big power/turbo cars, because usually those gears go by so fast, its a waste of time...but there is no reason not to use it in our cars...we need all the help we can get
