New: Do I need ALL the GT mounts to swap into an ST? Or tell me which ones I will need
Will be using the GT transmission. I can get the cables, but are the shifters the same? or do I need one from a GT? thanks Thanks just need to know what to buy Ok so I bought Jims alltrac 3sgte, that manny installed, and did all the work to (timing belt, seals, ect.) so all thats already done for me (yeah i got super lucky  ) And its plug and play like all of Jims swap sets.It comes with an ACT 6 puck clutch installed. I was debating on the e153 trans, but have decided to go with the stock GT trans, just to get it done sooner. maybe Ill go that route later. So I can just buy a 5s stage 2+ disk. I DO NOT need to get a custom splined 3s (splined to an s54) disk. I mean will it work? If it will great, if not the $200 isnt a big deal. I dont want to buy something that isnt going to work lol
I assume the 3s will come with a 3s flywheel and pressure plate, or i can get some from jim when i pick it up.
