1994 GT4, the filter and piping is HUGEEEEEE! I thought of changing all this for a cold air intake or short ram intake...good or bad idea?

I have WR-SW SRI on my car. Cost ~150 and took 5 mins to put on. Plus it comes with tubing that extends and bends that you can place on the end of your filter and create a sort of Cold Air Intake. So you can get the best of both worlds with no hassle. Honestly though, with the SRI I didn't notice a lose in power or response. My tachometer is reading a lil lower (~100rpm lower but idk how an sri would have affected that? possibly cause i havent capped off the bypass valve yet) In the power department I feel as though it might have actually gained a hp from it. Lol.
